Thursday, 04 June 2009 13:40

ASHEVILLE, North Carolina – May 13, 2009 – ERC Broadband and the American Association of State Climatologists (AASC) announced today that the association’s website is now being hosted by ERC Broadband. (PDF download)

ERC’s data center and partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration created the ideal environment for us to partner with the AASC,” said Hunter Goosmann, General Manager of ERC Broadband. “We have been committed to supporting NOAA and climate for years. Expanding that support to directly include the state climatologists is a very natural step.”

The transition to ERC Broadband was seamless, “ said Nolan Doesken, the President of AASC and Colorado State Climatologist. “ERC Broadband is providing excellent support. This is very important for our organization, as our website is one of the important ways we collaborate with each other and our federal partners.”

The AASC website can be found on the web at http://www.stateclimate.org/.
